Description:

LIVING WITH PASSION AND SERVING WITH PRIDE
3 - 4 October 2009, YWCA Fort Canning Lodge, 6 Fort Canning Road (S) 179494

It is only through work and strife that either nation or individual moves on to greatness. The great man is always the man of mighty effort, and usually the man whom grinding need has trained to mighty effort."

 - Theodore Roosevelt (26th U.S. President), in a speech about Grant, delivered at Galena, Illinois, April 27, 1900

The theme for the Junior Chamber International Singapore's 37th National Convention is to encourage the young Singaporeans to live with passion and to serve with pride. With today economic downturn, Singaporeans must find ways to overcome such challenges by giving meanings and purpose in their lives. Being Passionate will drive and fill their lives with love, commitment, enthusiasm, delight and makes them something to look forward to their Career, Family & Love Ones.

On the other hand, serving with pride with every aspect of their lives encourages their commitment to aspire to greater heights and provide them success in life. Passion combined with the pride to serve gives every individual the right attitude for commitments to excel their own personal endeavour.
